In an ongoing effort to improve reblog attribution, we’re experimenting with new formatting that adds the original poster’s link to the automatically generated “via” text if their link was removed from the post by an intermediate reblogger.

You are still, of course, able to edit the automatic attribution when reblogging a post.

In addition to encouraging credit for original posters, this will also make it much safer for blogs with built-in reblog credits (like the Redux theme) to remove the inline “via” links.

Name Ian Andersen
First post November 2009
Location Houston, TX

Ian Andersen always liked comics, but it wasn’t until he found James Kochalka’s American Elf that he started making his own. “The idea of just doing a strip a day about my own life really blew me away,” he says. Like many other cartoonists before him, he discovered that this daily routine pushed him to improve his ability in both drawing and writing. Ian has posted a daily comic for two years now, attends college, and drinks lots of coffee.

Name Carsten Höller: Experience
Location New Museum, New York
Info Exhibition runs through January 15, 2012

Over the past twenty years, Carsten Höller has created a world that is equal parts laboratory and test site, exploring such themes as childhood, love, the future, and doubt. Höller left his early career as a scientist in 1993 to devote himself exclusively to art making, and his work is often reminiscent of research experiments. His pieces are designed to explore the limits of human sensorial perception and logic through carefully controlled participatory experiences.
